Do you like to eat legumes, nuts, seeds on your raw food journey?

Nuts and seeds, and contain high levels of phytic acid and lectins.
 
Phytic acid and lectins form insoluble complexes with minerals, proteins and other nutrients. For example, zinc, magnesium, iron.
 
This means that minerals and nutrients do not get absorbed properly into blood and, hence, not delivered to cells in adequate amounts.
 
This could interfere with your healing.
 
Or lead to deficiencies or cravings.
 
The solution? Soak or sprout all your nuts, seeds, and legumes (in acidic water). Soaking and sprouting reduces levels of phytic acid and lectins.
