Trying to feel full with just fruits, veggies and fruit smoothies?
Usually you will feel hungry pretty soon.
That’s because fruits and veggies are mostly simple sugars and digest relatively fast.
Within 20-60 min.
To feel full for longer include foods that take longer to digest, 1-3 hours.
Such foods are high in protein, fiber and starch.
One of my absolute favourites are tigernuts.
Taste like dessert. Like cake. No exaggerations.
I prefer buying them grounded – tigernut “flour”.
Eat tigernut flour plain (mixed with water), put in sweet smoothies, shakes, raw cakes and crackers.
